Game Development Services

Unity game development and co-development for mobile, desktop, WebGL, and HTML5 projects, from prototype through release.

XGameDev builds and co-develops games for clients, studios, agencies, and product teams. We work across mobile, desktop, WebGL, and browser-based HTML5 projects, with Unity as our main production engine and Construct or Phaser where a lightweight browser build is the better technical fit.

Our role changes with the project. Some clients need a full game built from a brief. Others need experienced Unity developers to take ownership of a feature, stabilise a codebase, improve performance, or help a project reach launch.

Unity Game Development and Co-development

We support game projects at implementation and technical leadership levels. That can mean gameplay systems, UI, tools, content pipelines, multiplayer integration, mobile performance, platform builds, store submission support, or production troubleshooting.

For studios, we can work inside an existing workflow and take responsibility for a defined part of the build. For non-game companies and agencies, we can provide the game-engine expertise needed to turn a concept into a playable, maintainable product.

Platforms and Engines

For mobile, desktop, and WebGL games, we usually build with Unity and C#. For HTML5 games, interactive 2D animations, and playable advertising content, we use lighter browser-focused tools such as Construct, Phaser, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.

The engine choice should follow the product. A Unity build may be right for 3D, cross-platform deployment, simulation, or complex runtime systems. A smaller HTML5 stack may be better for simple 2D interactions, campaign content, or LMS delivery.

Production Support Beyond Gameplay

Game delivery often depends on systems outside the moment-to-moment gameplay. XGameDev can also support backend services, multiplayer systems, analytics, build automation, native mobile integrations, App Store and Google Play releases, and ongoing technical maintenance.

Examples of Game Work

Our portfolio includes mobile FPS titles, educational games, browser games, virtual worlds, interactive ads, puzzle games, and client-funded prototypes. Where project details can be shared, the portfolio pages explain the product context and the technologies involved.
